Shining Light Prenatal Education is celebrating our third anniversary this year. We’d be honored to have you attend our party and fundraiser.
There will be food and drink to share.
We have invited a number of other folks who work with pregnant and new mothers to attend and set up some info tables for you. This is part of our ongoing effort to build community and provide resources to our students.
Since community is a key tenant at Shining Light, we are making an effort to support those in need. As such, this party is a fundraiser for The Three Rivers Mothers’ Milk Bank.
The mission of The Three Rivers Mothers’ Milk Bank is, “Three Rivers Mothers’ Milk Bank recognizes the importance of breast milk to optimize the health and well-being of all babies, especially medically vulnerable infants. When mothers’ own milk is unavailable, Three Rivers Mothers’ Milk Bank provides donor human milk, which is collected and processed according to the guidelines set forth by the Human Milk Banking Association of North America. We also aim to facilitate research and education in human lactation.”
Pittsburgh is in need of such a milk bank and the milk provided to local hospitals will help premature and other medically fragile babies survive and thrive.

As our party is a fundraiser, we suggest a minimum $10 donation per person. 100% of your donation will go directly to the Milk Bank. Donations can be made in cash or check only.
