Motherhood is often a difficult transition. It is important to have support during this time. Out of the Blue is facilitated by Licensed Social Worker and Postpartum Support International member Amy Lewis.
Our group offers:
- A safe space to talk about how to cope with anxiety and depression during pregnancy and after your child is born.
- Resources for new mothers and their families.
- Education about common struggles for new mothers.
- Opportunity to connect with other mothers.
- Strategies for self-care.
Amy’s passion for this work began during her previous career as a massage therapist. Honored to attend clients and friends navigating pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period, she became sensitized to some of the issues women face through the transition into motherhood. She is the mother of two, a daughter born in 2004, and a son, born in 2006. You can read more about her, or contact her directly, at www.socialemotionalchange.com
