Breastfeeding means that my child will get the best nutrients from me while forming a bond.

To me Breastfeeding is the calm in the midst of the storm. It’s a reminder to be present with my baby, to breathe deeply, and to slow down. It’s also SO empowering to watch her grow & know that my body is nourishing hers!

Breastfeeding means that I have/am providing my girls with the best nourishment available to them and, even more empowering, I’m doing it with my own body. I was *meant* to do this!! 🙂 It also meant that when my oldest was younger and a TERRIBLE eater, I could relax and not stress (at least stress a little less), because no matter what, she was getting her most important nutrients through me.

When I imagine breastfeeding my little girl-to-be, I see us both eating healthier. I see us gaining many hours of bonding time. I see us having a few extra dollars to put toward things besides formula. I see my baby growing, and I see myself growing from the experience. Thank you for hosting a giveaway. It’s very thoughtful.

Breastfeeding for me was the hardest/most wonderful thing I have ever done for my 2year old son as a baby. I was plagued by ductile yeast infections and had to discontinue much earlier than expected and it broke my heart. 3 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant again and was over the moon at the prospect of having that intimate relationship with my second child. I have so much more information an support this time around. Breastfeeding was the most special time my son and I spent together and I was looking forward to that again. I unfortunately found out that we lost the baby yesterday and have begun miscarrying. The one purchase I wanted to make for this baby was a better breast pump for a hopefully better outcome breastfeeding. Once my husband and I are through grieving I will hopefully be blessed with another child and another chance at breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding my son means that we are able to continue the powerful physical connection we had while I was pregnant with him. I am so amazed when I see how much he’s grown and know that it is all from nursing. I think that breastfeeding is one of the most amazing and beautiful acts of humanity.

Breastfeeding (just like pregnancy) is a reminder of how remarkable the human body, especially a woman’s body is. Not that men aren’t important, too. (Hehe). We are created to be pregnant and breastfeed. It is truly amazing that babies need their mother, out of everyone in the whole world, for the exact nutrients they need to become strong kids. It’s a beautiful way to start motherhood off and the healthiest way for a baby to start life. I can’t wait to experience this bond with my little boy in a little over a month! 🙂
It’s so nice of you to do this giveaway! Love your classes.

Breast feeding my daughter to me means everything! My first was a preemie and after 4 months of pumping my milk supply stopped!!!! I am now in my 34th week of pregnancy and can’t wait to create that breast feeding bond right away!!!!!!!!

I’m a new mom – “due” in 3 days – and I am honestly so excited to begin breastfeeding my little one. Breastfeeding means saving money, creating a strong bond with my new baby, and above all, giving my baby the healthiest and most natural start to life. Even though the choice to breastfeed is a no brained for me, I always need to research any topic new to me. This site is incredibly interesting, because there are benefits that I didn’t even know about. Check it out: https://www.notmilk.com/101.html

This is our first, so I haven’t had the breastfeeding experience yet. But my resolve to breastfeed has been bolstered by all of the positive research surrounding breastfeeding and child development, so for me it means something additional I can do to contribute to the health and happiness of our baby.
Angela says
I hope that breastfeeding will help me to create a bond with my baby. I want to breastfeed to provide my son with the best possible nutrition. I want to breastfeeding because it is a gift given to mother’s that we are able to give back to our children.

I am excited to nourish my baby with nature’s most natural milk. Breast feeding to me is a unquie chance to bond with my baby and supply her with lots vitamins. 🙂
Diane says
Breastfeeding means giving my baby the best start to life I can hope to offer. I feel for women who are unable to breastfeed for one reason or another, and wish that it could be accessible for everyone who wants to but cannot. Hopefully more moms can choose to donate extra milk to those who are less fortunate!
Deena Blumenfeld says
Congratulations, Diane! You’ve won the breastpump! I’ll email you directly. 🙂

Breastfeeding means that I get to sit down, relax and enjoy my babe. Breathe her in, watch her grow and feel her little hands on me. It’s sweet, sweet times for us both.
Casey Kilroy says
As a mom to be, I have to be honest and say that I have no idea how powerful a bonding experience breast feeding is going to be. I can only imagine it to be what I have read in books and heard from other mothers I know. I do know that I want a breast pump because as soon as I have breast feeding established, I want to pump and have my husband bottle feed so that he can have the opportunity to bond with our little one too!
